So, we are new to this and my friend, Shar, put me up to it, so here we go. Caleb and I met online at ldssingles.com. Yes, it is embarrassing to tell people about that, but it really worked for us. We met in November 2004 and knew within two weeks that we were going to get married. Caleb proposed February 11, 2005 which was a nice Valentine's Day present and then we tied the knot on May 5, 2005! Yep, that is Cinco De Mayo also. So it was a happy day around the mexican world too.
We lived in Salt Lake City for three months and then moved up to Logan so I could finish my degree in dietetics. Caleb went to school for a couple years and decided going to school full time and working full time is insane, so he is going to do nursing when I finish my schooling. He's such a sweetheart for supporting me while I pursue my eduational goals. But I know that I will have to be his sugar mama while he goes through nursing school.
In the meantime we are sick of being college students and just wish this last semester would fly by. This is my last semester and then I will have our little boy the end of May! That's when the real fun happens. Caleb puts his head on my tummy every night before we go to sleep to talk to his little boy. It's so cute and I just love knowing that this little man is going to really change our world for the better. I know it's going to be hard some days, but I know the good will out weigh the hard times.
Caleb is currently working as a cookie man out at Pepperidge Farms in Richmond. Caleb works way harder than me. He loves being on the day schedule and so do I!!! I actually get to see him regularly and we get to do fun stuff together. He's so awesome and I love him!!! I couldn't ask for a better supporter and provider! So when you see him, tell him he's awesome!
I'm at the point in my pregnancy that all I can think about is baby stuff. It's good, but I have so much other stuff to think about like homework! My brain needs a break and I don't think it will have a break for a long time especially with our little man on the way. But life is great and we're very happy, so I'm not complaining.
Well, that's all I can think of for today, and I hope we aren't too boring to read about. Chow!
