Finn's New Trick

There's never a dull moment when Finn is around. This kid is full of never ending energy and it's hard to keep up with him. He's got quite the vocabulary and repeats everything we say, so we have to watch what we say! We hope you enjoy.
Love ya'll,
Kensie

Some more of our life...

Finn and Daddy just chillin in bed

Finn and his new big boy coat. We bought it a size too big so he could grow.

Posing on Sunday morning-he's so handsome

Riding his horsey. I love this look because I get it a lot and I know he's saying, "you're such a nerd Mom!"

Eating his washcloth. He's so out of control in the bath tub. We walk out wetter than him.

He really wanted to put on his swim gear, so we had to get a picture. What a sweetie.

Happy Boo Halloween!

We hung out with my sister-in-laws family for Halloween and we had a great time! Her family was so warm and welcoming, so we felt at home. Finn was running on suckers and so he was bouncing off the walls, but it was a holiday so I just let him go until he finally faded. He was winnie the pooh, but he did not like having the hood on, so we were lucky to get a couple photos without him pulling it off. He's so full of energy and never stops, but we love our little boy. He's really teaching me patience. Can I just say that I love nursery! Church is such a different experience without chasing him up and down the halls. In the meantime Caleb is still working hard and going to school online while I'm doing my internship. We're grateful for all our family and friends and just want to say, " WE LOVE YOU!" Happy Halloween!

Look at Finn run!

I am putting this video on here to please my friend Helena because she chastised me for not posting recent pictures of Finn. So here's some video of Finn chasing geese and ducks up at Weber State. We moved into an apartment west of Weber State and go up there often to keep Finn happy. It's a really pretty campus, especially this time of year. I'm half way through with my internship and I'm enjoying working at Davis School District. Caleb still doesn't like his job, but is diligently seeking for a new job everyday. We know we'll be directed where we need to be. We just need to be patient and trust in Heavenly Father. It's so much easier said than done. But like my Mom always tells me, "you're building character". So with that in mind, I'm going to try to see the positive in everything and smile more. Thanks for all of your support and friendship. Love you all!

My baby is growing up!

Here's the lastest pictures of our little Finner the winner. Oh, I love this little guy so much! He has enough energy to power L.A., but he is so happy and pleasant to be around. He makes Caleb and I so happy and we are SO grateful to be blessed with him as a son. He will be 15 months tomorrow and is getting so independent and chatty. Caleb is currently working 12 hours shifts/5 days a week for Kellogg's and I have three weeks left in my clinical rotation for my dietetic internship. Life has been really hard lately, but we're grateful for all the people who are helping us get through this bumpy time in our life. Sometimes I think that I've done something wrong to be going through this "trial" and then on Sunday I was reminded of Job and what he had to go through. I guess I need to realize that we have trials to make us more like our Heavenly Father and should be grateful for the opportunity to be able to learn and grow and become eternal families. It's just not so easy to have an eternal perspective when you are in the midst of a trial. Thanks to all of you for your great examples of enduring well through your own personal trials and giving me strength when I need it the most.

Summer fun in the water

As you can see by these pictures, Finn loves water too. It's nearly impossible to keep him away from any water source. When grandma is watering her garden and flowers, he has to get wet or he cries. We've decided Finn is just a little boy through and through and there's no keeping him from getting wet and dirty, so we just try to play along with it as best we can.

Finn's first birthday

Finn turned one on May 25th! It's so crazy how the time has flown by, but it's been a great year and he just keeps getting more and more fun. He also is getting more and more mobile, so he's into everything and keeps us very busy and entertained. Finn destroying his first birthday cake.
Finn's second birthday cake. I don't think he likes cake because he didn't eat much. He just poked at it.

"What is this?"

For part of his birthday fun we went to Wheeler Farm and enjoyed the day there.

We went on a hay ride to see all the sites. Finn just wanted the camera.

I think he likes sheep because they make weird noises.

And he liked the turkeys because they looked like chickens. Because of Grandpa Spence's chickens in the backyard, he thinks he is a farmer.

Finn loves dirt!

So I've been gone from the blogging world for a little while and it's not because I've had a lack of stuff to share, it's because I've been busy! Finn and I have been living with my parents while Caleb has been working up in Davis County. We just wanted to save on living costs for a couple months until I start my internship in Davis County. So I had to share these photos because Finn is such a boy and loves, I mean LOVES, dirt! My Dad was just adding this nice composted soil to his garden and Finn had to help, so he got right in there. I love this kid! He always keeps me smiling and on my toes. Thank heaven for little boys.

twinklethink, twinklethink(sesame street)

Hello out there,
We have finally moved out of Cache Valley and are kind of in limbo until I start my dietetic internship in June at Davis Hospital. Finn and I live with my parents and Caleb is living with some friends in Richmond to continue working at Pepperidge Farms until he can find another job closer to where I'll be doing my internship. It really sucks living apart from my sweetheart, but I guess it won't be for too long(hopefully). Caleb does have an interview for a job in Clearfield this week, so we are hoping he can land it and live together as a family.
In the meantime I'm trying to get everything prepared before I start my internship. Tonight I was working on my huge clinical worksheet. It started out being 15 pages but I think it has increased to 18. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get the answers, but I can't even remember where to find the answers! I'm such a dork! So, if any of you reading this are my dear dietetic friends, and want to give me any hints, it would be much appreciated. Yes, I want to do this on my own so I can learn, but a friendly helping hand pointing me in the right direction couldn't hurt. I hope all is well in your lives. You keep me smiling.
love,
Kinz

Easter Vacation

We went and saw the new baby goats at Grandma and Grandpa Montgomery's

I helped Grandma Spence garden and ate some dirt!

And I demolished an Easter cupcake, yum!!!
