Life as we speak

We are having a good time living in Roswell. It's definitely a change from Utah, but we are getting to know some wonderful people and love the weather! As most of you might think, it does get really warm in the summer, but all the locals tell me it cools down at night unlike Arizona. These pictures were taken of Finn in a dwarf tangerine tree. The tree was so low to the ground it was just his size! We were visiting some friends in Artesia (south of Roswell) for Easter and Finn fell in love with their dog and dwarf tree. I'm glad my friend had her camera, because like usual, we forgot ours.

This is my cute little brother, Garret, on his mission in Auckland, New Zealand. He loves his mission and gets fed dinner four nights a week. They have to limit the missionaries to only four meals a week because the kiwis love to feed the skinny American boys. To say the least, he has gained a little weight, but I think he sweats most of it off. I love this photo because he looks truly happy! I'm so proud of my little brother!

This is Finn's latest portrait photo. It took two sessions to get one photo of him facing forward and smiling. He was so angry during his photo sessions that he was telling the lady to "go away" and was trying to throw a ball at her! You get how energetic and 'full of life' Finn is everyday. My family thinks this looks like a classic 70's picture-plaid shirt, curly hair swept to the side. LOL, this kid cracks me up! But everyone has to have a picture like this of when they were a kid.
