Carlsbad Caverns

I had Saturday off, which does not happen very often, so we headed out for an adventure this weekend. Carlsbad is about an hour and a half south of Roswell and the caverns are about 20 miles south of Carlsbad, so we decided to get down there and see what the fuss was about.

Holy Cow! We were amazed the second we walked into the caverns! These caverns are so big, 14 football fields big to be exact, that they put every cave you've been in to shame. Finn, our cute, rambunctious, 2 year old that he is, only let us do a small hike in the "Big Room", but we still had a blast. The $6 to get in was way worth it! If your near Carlsbad, we recommend stopping and enjoying the national park and caverns.

Love this picture of Finn picking his nose and me making a fake grin.

Finn has a hard time being confined in the car, so we were lucky to catch this smile when he was playing with my sunglasses. He's such a good kid, but he's a boy and he's two, so needless to say, he is a handful all the time! Bless those of you out there with a little boy! We know how it feels to be so exhausted from chasing your boy ALL DAY LONG! But we wouldn't have it any other way.

I cracked up at the pic of Finn picking his nose. When did our babies get so big? I'm glad you're enjoying your job and your new home in Roswell. I sure miss ya being close though.

Love the post. I think you are the only person that truly understand when I talk about boys! I totally understand about boys being boys.
